Pea Souk is the only fully Vegetarian Café in Falmouth and also produces the most interesting food in Falmouth! Pea Souk is run by Cordon Vert graduate Nicola Willis and specializes in Middle Eastern and Moroccan Cuisine as well as baking the best cakes, some of which are now famous in Falmouth, such as the courgette and lime cake, the vegan cheesecakes and the carrot, beetroot and orange cake. The café serves an astonishing selection of homemade food even down to the chutneys, jams and marmalades, and also offers several different soups and fresh salads a day.

Nicola says ‘I strive to cook all my dishes as authentically as possible to offer my customers a unique eating experience in Falmouth. I am inspired by the aromatic spices of North Africa and the sultry ingredients of the Middle East, this combined with a passion for the seasons. Every Autumn, we have the Pumpkin festival to celebrate the elusive Crown Prince Pumpkin that my mother grows for the cafe. We delight our customers with delectable dishes such as Pumpkin, Apricot and Ginger soup, Moroccan Pumpkin Filo tart, Roast Pumpkin, Red Chilli and Mozzarella salad and a heavenly baked Pumpkin Cheesecake.’

Pea Souk offers breakfast, lunches and opens in the evenings with advance bookings only. We also host many parties in the café in the evenings with the cosy nature of the café creating a very intimate setting which is perfect for birthdays, story telling evenings and other special occasions. The café offers a full outside catering service with any event considered.

The café has the highest standards of food integrity and uses mainly organic produce from small, local suppliers and recycles nearly everything.
