Bistro 1847, which opened it's doors earlier this year as Manchester city centre's only vegetarian restaurant has received an overwhelming response from vegetarian’s in the North West and the many visitors to the city. They have recently increased covers from 32 to 58 as they were turning people away on busy Friday/Saturday evenings. They have also extended their opening hours from 5 days to 7, offering a la carte Monday to Saturday plus a full brunch menu on Sundays. To deal with this demand, Eddie Shepherd, Vegetarian chef of the year 2009, has joined the team, & we continue to build on the excellent reputation already built from Head Chef Wendy Swetnam, who’s own experience include Vanilla Black in London & ‘best restaurant in the world 2010 & 2011’ Noma in Copenhagen.
