Rockfield House is our quiet and peaceful bed and breakfast situated in the heart of rural Derbyshire, close to Matlock and the Peak District National Park.



We are exclusively vegetarian and pride ourselves on producing wonderful vegetarian and vegan cuisine, be it for a hearty breakfast or a delicious three course evening meal. We are very proud to have been approved by the Vegetarian Society’s Food and Drink Guild and continue to deliver exciting and varied menus, using mostly locally sourced and organic seasonal ingredients, to their exacting standards and practices. Kate holds the Cordon Vert Diploma awarded, (at distinction level), by The Vegetarian Society and is always prepared to discuss menu options and cater for any particular requirements.



You can wake up to birdsong in our two very comfortable bedrooms. 
Both bedrooms have en-suite facilities, Freeview TV, WiFi access, 
a hospitality tray, an honesty fridge and a hairdryer. “Upstairs” is a twin bedded room with a separate private sitting room and “Downstairs” is an especially quiet and private large double room with a spacious seating area.



Our adult preferred environment is an ideal base to unwind, relax and let the world go by. If however, you prefer to use your leisure time more actively, your host Martin is a qualified outdoor instructor and has access to a range of technical and personal equipment in order for you to take full advantage of the outdoor playground that is Derbyshire.
