One day a man called Barry realised that all the outdoor events that he went to never seemed to cater for people like himself who wanted healthy vegetarian food, instead of the usual burger and chips. This brought him to the conclusion that there must be a market for somebody to provide this and he could be just the person to do it.

Goodness Gracious Healthy Foods was born in the Autumn of 1988, when a small catering unit was purchased with the aid of a £5,000 loan, made possible by the Princes Youth Business Trust ( who also provided access to a business advisor ).

In the third year Barry added a second larger unit, again with help from the P.Y.B.T. The following two years saw another two full size catering trailers added to the fleet which replaced the small original one. So with three units and trucks to organise, Barry called on the help of his brother Peter and they started a partnership.

The company operates throughout the summer months travelling the length and width of the United Kingdom, from Scotland to Cornwall and Belfast to Langollen. Serving quality vegan and vegetarian food and drink to the health-consious public wherever they go.

All the food apart from one item is made to their own recipes, and they are now in the enviable position of serving healthy vegan and vegetarian food at many of the U.K.'s most prestigious and unusual shows. These range from The Royal Show and Hampton Court Flower Show to Glastonbury Festival and Sidmouth Folk Festival.

Other shows include U2's Zooropa tour, Newark Antique Show, Prince's Tour, Gay Pride, Brighton Essential Music Festival, Shrewsbury Flower Show, Phoenix Music Festival, Ealing Jazz Show, The Royal Ulster show in Belfast to name just a few. Hope to serve you soon !
