Karibuni and Ski Weekender

The concept of Karibuni was initially born as an idea on a beach in Zanzibar – hence the Swahili name. Further plans were made during a long mini-bus journey from Denali National Park in Alaska and the hard work began in earnest!

Karibuni stems from a desire to make activities and adventure holidays easily accessible for all and to allow people to come together and share in the fun and collective good feeling from getting out there, getting physical and doing something a little different.

Sports such as mountain biking, skiing and climbing needn ‘t be just the reserve of the keen enthusiast who knows where to go, insists on having the right gear and speaks a foreign language of alloy hubs, flexible inner core stability or double-axel camming devices.

Karibuni aims to break down these barriers and make a range of sports and holidays accessible to all - regardless of experience - and to deliver the most convenient packages at good value.

This philosophy is typified by our French Adventure Weekends which include all the transfers, activities, guides and meals whilst away on the weekend trips. Simply take your rucksack to work fly to Geneva and then simply sit back and let all your worries be taken care of by your Karibuni Team.

We assist you in getting the most from your time - and remove all the hassles. You can bike, walk, climb, enjoy a beer or 2, some good food and pleasant company, see beautiful places, meet the locals, taste some local specialities, sleep well and benefit from some of the freshest air Europe has to offer.

On Monday evening – make your way home with a bag of dirty washing, aching legs, some new friends' email addresses and a desire to get out into the country again as soon as possible.
