Potager Garden provides a relaxed environment with an informal mix of herbaceous planting, accentuated with vegetables and fruit. There are games to play, hammocks to laze in, boule and badminton to enjoy and at the heart of it all is the glasshouse café, lined with grape vines.

The café menu, spontaneous and inventive, evolves from what is available in the Potager garden and from Awen & Tanya’s veg patch at home, combined with ingredients which reflect a strong commitment to quality and ethical sourcing. There are weekend breakfasts and lunches (for example a butternut squash, tomato, basil & walnut tart, served with homemade houmous and a wild garnish) and Tanyaʼs teatime treats. Awen makes all his own breads and his frittata is a delicious classic. A new development this year is the Friday opening until 8pm, so you can enjoy your meal while watching the beautiful changes of sunlight through the Potager trees.

If you love good food, care about where it comes from, like eating alfresco under the sun or the stars, or by a cosy wood stove when the weather is not so hot, then this is for you.
