Food and music: two things you can definitely get passionate about. And that is exactly the concept behind Green Note, a unique new vegetarian café-bar/live music venue that has recently opened in Camden Town, London.
Green Note is a relaxed, intimate venue, comprising of two sections. Sit in the restaurant section in the front and you can enjoy the delicious menu all freshly prepared on the premises, which includes an extensive selection of “World Tapas”, allowing you to mix and match flavours from around the globe. Main courses are also internationally-inspired, and include Moroccan butternut squash tagine, a mouth-watering Thai green curry, and a salad plate where you can choose your own toppings. All basic ingredients are organic and vegans well catered for. And don’t forget to leave room for dessert, as these are truly irresistible…
Walk through the red velvet curtains to the back room, complete with a fully-stocked bar, which is where the gigs are held. There is live music four nights a week, with styles ranging from blues and jazz to folk, roots, world and singer-songwriters.
Green Note is also open during the weekends for brunch. It is worth checking out as they serve what is quite possibly the best veggie breakfast in London!
