Furniss originates from the Cornish city of Truro, where in the 1880's a master baker named John Cooper Furniss started producing fairings, gingerbreads and other high class confectionery.

Today, the company still uses some of his original recipes to produce traditional biscuits with the same love and care as Mr Furniss did himself.
