‘Greens Beers were established in 2004 with the launch of the UK’s first gluten free beer ‘Discovery Ale’. Since then company has expanded to include a range of award winning beers of contemporary styles to suit all tastes. These beers are produced exclusively by Belgian craft brewers, and today Greens still produce Discovery and a low carbohydrate lager called Trailblazer. Both of these are produced using 100% natural gluten free raw materials, and are allergen free as defined by EU 2003 Directive. In 2008 the process of removing the gluten from conventionally brewed beer was uncovered and the range was extended to include Premium Pils and Golden Ale, which was followed in 2010 by the introduction of the bottle refermented range of Blonde Ale, Dark and Brown Ale.
